The Beta Pi Chapter of Beta Theta Pi, the 46th chapter of Beta Theta Pi to be colonized at a University. The charter for the University of Minnesota Chapter was granted in 1889, and ten founders were initiated into the ranks of Beta Theta Pi:
An important alumnus to the Minnesota Chapter, Peter F. Greiner served as General Fraternity President from 1966-1972. In honor of his service to the General Fraternity, the leadership development event that occurs every year at the General Convention was named after this Beta Great. He is still honored at his local chapter where a central room is named after this important alumnus. |
